Job Summary
Responsible for the effective operation of the Labcorp Global Animal Welfare Risk Management system
Ensures risks to animal welfare/animal welfare compliance are identified, recorded, assessed; risk reduction priorities are agreed, communicated and actions tracked until completion.

C. Essential Job Duties - Ensure newly identified risks to animal welfare/animal welfare compliance are identified, recorded, assessed, and communicated in accordance with organizational risk management policies.
- Ensure a global animal welfare and compliance risk register is maintained and is accessible at all times.
- Ensure animal risk management communications eg Teams/SharePoint contain up to date information and metrics.
- Manage access to sensitive animal welfare metric data.
- Assist Global Animal Welfare and Compliance Officer (GAWCO), AWVS, Operational and Scientific leaders in identifying local, regional and global risk reduction priorities.
- Organize and document site risk review meetings in accordance with organizational risk management policies, ensure meeting outcomes are documented and tracked to completion.
- Maintain metrics on the application of risk management, regularly report progress to the GAWCO.
- Partner with the Animal Welfare Data Analyst to develop trending and risk specific metrics which support risk management activities. As required, act as back up for the Animal Welfare Data Analyst.
- Maintain up to date knowledge with current risk management developments/theory. Support the development and implementation of new tools and processes to aid effective risk management.
- Follow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Complete required trainings according to required timelines.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Experience Minimum Required: - 3 years experience in quality risk management system
- 5 years of related experience inclusive of GLP operations and/or quality, preferably within an in vivo research environment
- Ability to review, analyze data and operational processes
- Must have the ability to balance several priorities simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within organization
Recommended III. Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses - A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred (or equivalent Life Science experience)
