Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating and streamlining our operations and processes. You will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about technology and eager to work with cloud computing and container orchestration. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, build, and automate the AWS infrastructure using Terraform in accordance with AWS Well-Architected Design principles. Bake AWS AMIs using EC2 Image Builder for consistent and scalable deployments. Deploy and manage microservices on Kubernetes/EKS utilizing Jenkins and other CI/CD tools. Create, configure, and manage build/deploy jobs within Jenkins. Proactively monitor systems and respond to alerts and incidents to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and maintain a CI/CD Pipeline for application deployment utilizing Jenkins, Docker, and other automation tools. Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Shell, bash, and PowerShell to streamline operations. Qualifications: B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study. 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud. Strong expertise in AWS services such as VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, and other related services. Proficient in Linux environments with solid Shell scripting abilities. Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies is highly desirable. AWS certification is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with source control management, specifically Git. Practical knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Understanding of CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins. Desired Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges. A keen interest in staying updated with the latest advancements in technology. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
