Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Chemical Analyst located in Puducherry. The Chemical Analyst will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials for research and development of new products or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences. The Chemical Analyst will also prepare and analyze samples, compile data, and interpret results using scientific and statistical techniques. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation Experience in analyzing various types of samples, including but not limited to water, soil, air, and chemicals Knowledge of chemical compounds and their properties, as well as experience in identifying unknown compounds using various methods and techniques Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and interpretation Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients Experience in quality control and following safety procedures in a laboratory setting Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS)Job tags
