Job Title: Delphi Software Developer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Delphi Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain software
applications using the Delphi programming language and the Delphi IDE. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in Delphi development and a passion for creating robust, user-friendly software
solutions.
EDUCATION PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 310 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on
Delphi programming
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into
technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Delphi programming language and
Delphi IDE.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that meets coding standards and best practices.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address any software defects or issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Delphi development and software
engineering.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize feature development and
enhancements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Delphi programming.
• Strong proficiency in Delphi programming language and Embarcadero Delphi IDE.
• Experience with database development using SQL and relational database management systems
(e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team
members and stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) is a plus.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies (e.g., C#, .NET, Java) is beneficial
but not required.
