Job Description :This role primarily oversees the development of enterprise standards and technology initiatives, and the IT governance process in particular IT Federated Support team. Individual will manage team of people responsible for providing infrastructure support for the enterprise. IT Leader will also be responsible for analyzing trends in technology, information security, assessing the impact of emerging technologies on the business, leading a team which provides solutions to address technology and information security issues aligned with business plans. IT Leader will be managing financial resources while ensuring the development of high-quality technology solutions, their governance and successful run solutions. These solutions must be developed and run at the best possible cost and be aligned with customer and business needs while establishing relationships with employees and key internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities : - Leading a team of highly skilled Engineers with a primary focus of Infrastructure Support, Incidents remediation, change and request implementation.- Directly and indirectly leading a team of various technology experts (Server, Virtualization, Network and Storage) delivering and running solutions which drives infrastructure stability.- Drives team culture for standardization approach across IT Federated Support department.- Drives interviewing and staff selection process and the supervision and performance management of team members.- Prioritizes and monitors team training, development, and growth to support individual, team and department goals.- Participates and leads new business unit's intake for the team services provided.- Prioritizes and leads efforts to improve IT systems security, compliance, and associated processes continuous improvement.- Monitors, assesses, and identifies strategies to improve processes, services, systems, and analysis.- Ensures good climate within the team and timely feedback, healthy challenge culture and support for obstacles removal and continuous progression.- Supports and inspires new methods for technology runbooks and operating procedures.- Drives continuous improvement across technology operations.- Effectively communicates decisions on company policies, plans and programs; ensures open communication at all levels.- Implements and maintains effective interfaces with other parts of Shared IT stakeholders.- Approaches issues or disagreements with the objective of reaching win/win solutions.- Ensures inter-department relationships are at the top of its level.- Ensures compliance to policies, procedures, and standards. Owns the designated processes and is accountable for ensuring that established processes are followed.- Measures service providers performance and ensures improvements are implemented.- Interacts with industry groups and consultants for the purpose of exchanging information and staying abreast of technological changes and advancements pertinent to the IT Reliability management disciplines.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.- Normally requires a minimum of five to six years of progressively responsible related experience, including two (2) years of experience at a Server/Network/Virtualization Administrator or equivalent role.- Requires experience in managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.- Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more IT project(s) on time and within budget.- ITIL certifications and relevant work experience is preferred.- Agile certifications are an advantage.- Direct exposure to Platforms (OS)/IT Network/Storage or Virtualization technologies management, operations and/or engineering management , Reliability, Engineering team management would be considered a significant benefit.- Experience working in Cyber Security Engineering or Operations roles would be considered a significant benefit- Understanding of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system.- Experience in technical field as a technical leader and engineer is preferred- Must demonstrate attention to details, analytical working methods while approaching troubleshooting.
