Job description
R esponsible for the handling projects related to SAP Migration, creating BOMs & Production Planning. Reporting to the Manager Engineering Operations.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- SAP support during order execution involving creation and modification of part numbers, material masters & BOM.
- Action change notifications as relevant to engineered products.
- Support migration from existing systems to SAP
- Inventory Management and Reporting
- Review and attach approved relevant drawing revisions to BOM
- Creation of routings based on requirements of Sales Order + material masters - incl. drawing, specifications, heat treatments and engineering instructions
- Analyse the manufacturing processes for areas of improvement
- Interact with stakeholders like Planning, Quality, Buyers spread across various Business Units to resolve all outstanding issues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A comprehensive understanding of SAP T-Codes like MM01/02/03, CS01/02/03, CS62/63, CV01N/02N/03N, VA03/05N & CA01/02/03
- Knowledge on manufacturing processes
- Capable of reading Engineering drawings
- Ability to read technical and design specifications
- Should be able to communicate fluently in English with external and internal stakeholders
- Experienced with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Email & Calendar system.
Education and Experience
- Diploma/B.E mechanical / industrial / production engineering in full time regular course from recognised university and institute in India
- 3-6 years of experience in a similar role preferably Valves.
