Optym is looking for brilliant, highly qualified and well-educated Operations Research Scientists to assist in building Optimization and AI/ML solutions for the transportation and logistics industry. Position Overview: Recruitment Manager with expertise in both Indian and US hiring practices, preferably with a background in engineering. You will lead our efforts in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top-tier technical talent for our organization across these regions, leveraging your deep understanding of engineering roles and the nuances of both markets, you will develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to meet our diverse hiring needs. Collaborating closely with hiring managers and stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with business objectives while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Recruitment Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to both Indian and US hiring practices, utilizing a mix of channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, industry events, and campus recruitment. Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage with qualified candidates in engineering disciplines, conducting thorough screenings to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and eligibility to work in India and the US. Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a positive candidate journey throughout the recruitment process, from initial outreach to offer acceptance, providing clear communication, guidance, and support to candidates in both regions. Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers in both India and the US to understand their staffing needs and priorities, providing expert guidance on regional hiring practices, market trends, and talent availability. Interview Coordination and Evaluation: Facilitate candidate interviews, coordinating schedules and ensuring interviewers are adequately prepared to assess candidates effectively in both regions. Conduct debrief sessions to gather feedback and evaluate candidate qualifications. Offer Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with candidates to secure competitive offers, considering factors such as salary, benefits, and relocation assistance. Manage offer acceptance and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires in both India and the US. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management on recruitment performance in both regions. Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition Marketing: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance our employer brand in both India and the US, developing recruitment marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract top technical talent. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 10-15 experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on both Indian and US hiring practices. Deep understanding of engineering roles and technical skill sets relevant to both markets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders in diverse cultural contexts. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices in both India and the US. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and sourcing tools. Certification in Human Resources is a plus.
