Job description
JOB PURPOSE
Support to review Designs, tendering with technical inputs, installation, Testing and commissioning of Electrical systems like HT, LT and LV Systems.
ORGANISATION CHART Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators Contract & SLA monitoring for T3 Contracts :-
- O&M of T3 Electrical ;
- O&M contract of Auto Doors
Checking the compliances wrt :-
- Serviceability, Preventive Maintenance, Response Time, Testing Reports of Equipment/Calibration, Availabilities of Tools, Spare Parts & Consumables
- Work permits , Hot permits
- Inventory control of LV spares.
- RCA and CAPA reports of all major incidents
- Ensure implementation of PM checklists / SOP
- Preparation of BOQ/Specifications/Makes.
- Submissions of MIS, Energy monitoring Reports
- Implementation of Improvement works and Kaizens
- Planning/Execution of Activities wrt CAPEX/OPEX & its monitoring and control
- Receipt of material after proper Quality checks
- Preparation of BOQ based on the consumption
- Submissions of MIS, Energy Saving Reports & Comparison wrt baseline, WAA Audits
- Improvement works – Kaizens,5S, BLIP ( Bottom Line Improvement Plan), CIP ( Continuous Improvement Plan)

Design Management: Assist in completing Electrical systems like HT, LT and LV Systems design reviews for project from conceptual stage to detailed designs by coordinating with Client, consultants and other stake holders of the Project. Carry checks on cable schedules, short circuit calculations, lighting level calculations, etc. Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, comply stake holder requirements and project objectives.
Procurement Management: Assist in Coordination with procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, evaluate new technologies at the time of tender, vendor evaluation and finalization. Collate the technical data submitted by vendors and prepare a compliance report for further reviews. In-time Procurement, finalization of contractor / Vendor. Project Quality, time and cost compliance
Construction Management: Under the guidance of Manager - Electrical, coordinate and ensure the implementation of the Electrical works with compliance to the Design and requirements of the Project. Do the panel relay coordination, cable continuity checks, cable healthiness check, etc. Completion within time, Quality compliance, Safety, Health and Environment compliance. Project Objectives & Stakeholder satisfaction
Handing over and Contract Closure: Assist in Handing over completed project to user departments with required documentation (collate all documents submitted by vendors / contractors), Hand hold the operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation. Post operation stabilization; assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all project related contracts. Complying with the project objectives & stabilization of system for maximum output as per the service levels. Contracts closure without major non conformances'.
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS External - Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Interact with all stake holders of the projects to understand and fulfill their requirements
Support in Coordinating with Government agencies like CEIG, CEA and local Electrical Authorities.
Interact with external consultant, Vendors / Contractors for smooth execution of the project.
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
Interact with other departments like P&C, Finance Technical Service, Operations team, for smooth flow of work.
Interact with individual/internal team members for smooth coordination of project.
Interact with Senior Management to apprise them about the progress of works.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Must have involved in the Building services Electrical works of CAPEX of Rs.01.00 Cr to 10.00 Cr
Other Dimensions Handling team of Supervisors, Electricians, technicians, etc.
Handling of Multiple vendors and stakeholders
Education Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Relevant Experience 4 - 6 years of total experience in Electrical systems like HT, LT and LV Systems in mega projects ( Malls, Hospitals, Hotels and Public Facilities is preferable)
