Job description

1. Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our facility and equipment.
2.Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, such as fixing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, painting, carpentry, landscaping.
3.Assist in the setup and installation of new systems and equipment, as well as conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
4.Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc)
5.Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
6.Assist in maintaining the tracker of calibration.
7.Perform troubleshooting of the Facilities and Equipment in electrical circuits, electronics
8.Knowledge on troubleshooting on electrical circuits, welding, Gas lines, etc
9.Assist in marking layouts and providing suggestions and best practices according to industry standards.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Skills:

10. Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role

11.Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems

12.Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

13Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

14.Problem-solving skills

15.Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime. 16.Working knowledge of glass blowing

OTHER SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OR DUTIES

• Adheres to all safety requirements.
• Maintains a clean work area.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong teaming skills.
• Basic understanding of material logistics.
• Basic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.

Required Certifications and Training

• Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

Experience Level with Business Tools

• Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Typical Education and Experience

• Desired Education Qualification - Diploma (Electrical)

• Experience - 5 to 8 years in maintenance field (Glass lathe experience added advantage)
