Job description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Head of Quality Assurance and Process Control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, quality control, and process management, with a preference for candidates with ex-army man. This position requires overseeing production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing measures for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance Leadership:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals to conduct inspections, audits, and tests to maintain product quality and integrity.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
2. Process Control Management:
- Oversee production processes and implement controls to minimize waste, reduce defects, and optimize efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
3. Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the quality assurance and process control team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and innovation.
4. Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify potential risks and hazards in production processes and implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, including ISO and other quality management systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, quality management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to effectively lead and develop teams.
- Experience in implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Military experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage in high-pressure environments.
