OVERVIEW : The Senior Consultant
position requires that all Consultant requirements be met along with a balanced technical and consulting skill set. This position requires moderate business acumen and domain knowledge, a high proficiency in one or more core technologies or solutions, project management, client support/leadership, or other related consulting skills. A Senior Consultant may provide detailed analysis, design specifications or project schedules/plans and is competent to work on full lifecycle phases of a project including system/solution development, implementation, deployment or project management. This position requires the ability to assist with project scope and task definition, as well as level of effort and timeline estimates. A Senior Consultant exhibits leadership potential and consistently meets engagement schedule, deadlines and cost targets, produces quality deliverables, and documents accurate and timely status report updates. Additionally, in the context of Management Services (MGS) engagements, the Senior Consultant should be capable of independently managing multiple client cases and communicate the progress and resolution of those cases to all relevant Cambay and client parties. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE : Strong understanding of delivery and consulting concepts and Cambay delivery/operational policies and procedures with the ability to apply them in the course of daily tasks and assignments; strong capabilities in identifying, determining and demonstrating effective approaches to resolve a wide range of complex technical and business challenges in creative and practical ways. Advanced knowledge of Azure networking including hub and spoke, virtual Wan, gateway and network appliances, and advanced peering and routing for Azure networks Advanced knowledge of Azure Entra including at least authentication support, and at least one Defender product suite. Consultant should also have audit and logging experience with advanced security integration with Log Analytics and SIEM solutions. Advanced experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments in Azure and designing infrastructure and application solutions in Azure. This should include at least three key technology areas such as virtual machines, AVD, SQL(or other DBs), AKS, Docker, Intune, or firewalls. Experience with deploying and configuring security platforms on Azure such as Defender for Cloud, Identity, or Sentinel Microsoft Certified Azure Expert or work towards this certification is preferred. Other advanced certification such as security, networking, or DevOps will also be considered for selection. JOB COMPLEXITY : The Senior Consultant is assigned tasks of diverse and complex scope to analyze and devise feasible solutions or delivery approaches to technical and/or business scenarios; leverages personal experience to demonstrate sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques and articulating those to both Cambay and client teams; works independently or within a Cambay team and likely to have direct interactions with clients. EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of Azure experience and 7+ years related experience and bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 2 years of consulting experience.Job tags
