Job description
Key Responsibilities: Configuration, orchestration, and automation using tools such as Jenkins/Gitlab, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes. Managing and deploying Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Working on enterprise platforms and principles, including web services, load balancers, shell scripting, authentication, IT security, failovers, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. Managing and maintaining standards for DevOps tools, providing technical guidance to ensure effective system installations and future needs. Working with cloud infrastructure and devices, preferably AWS, and administering cloud environments. Implementing a continuous integration/deployment methodology for server-based technologies. Collaborating with software developers and product management teams to design, deploy, and manage scalable software services. Leading and assisting the Retail DevOps team with architecture, requirements analysis, and solution management. Leading technical conversations and choosing appropriate technologies with the Domain Architect.
Qualifications and Skillsets: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing computer software projects using open-source services. Strong working experience with Jenkins/Gitlab, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with cloud native tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus, Artifactory, Vault, Splunk, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog (good to have). Solid software development fundamentals, including source control and CI/CD setup. Experience in cloud sourcing and asset management. Familiarity with working in an agile environment and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership abilities, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.Job tags
