Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer/Developer with expertise in managing and optimizing AWS services, specifically focusing on S3, CloudFront setup and operations, service provisioning, and CloudFormation. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in implementing and maintaining scalable AWS solutions.
Position: AWS Cloud Engineer
• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud-based solutions, with a strong emphasis on S3 and CloudFront configurations.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing S3 storage, data transfer, and CloudFront distributions for performance and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and secure AWS architectures.
• Create, manage, and automate infrastructure as code using CloudFormation templates to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity, and security concerns.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with AWS services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Stay updated with AWS best practices, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements in our infrastructure.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience working as an AWS Cloud Engineer/Developer or similar role.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically S3, CloudFront, EC2, IAM, and VPC.
• Experience in optimizing and fine-tuning AWS resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and orchestration of AWS services.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security practices, and compliance standards within AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.
