Job Description:

Our Finance and Accounting Department is now looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts and Compliances Manager to join our team. The chosen applicant will be in charge of making sure that Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and pertinent regulatory requirements are followed. This position is a stimulating chance to support our organization's integrity and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including but not limited to GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act.

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risks.

Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process and address any audit findings.

Provide guidance and support to finance team members on accounting treatments and compliance matters.

Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Conduct regular reviews of accounting policies and practices to ensure alignment with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instrument valuation, ensuring compliance with Ind AS.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the impact of new accounting standards on financial reporting and develop implementation strategies.

Lead the preparation of financial statements and disclosures for statutory audits, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Serve as a subject matter expert on Ind AS and accounting principles, providing training and awareness sessions to finance team members and key stakeholders.

Maintain effective communication with external auditors, regulators, and other relevant authorities regarding accounting standards, interpretations, and compliance matters.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes and internal controls.

Requirements:

Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CMA) is highly desirable.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance roles.

Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex accounting standards and provide practical solutions.

Proven track record of managing audits, implementing accounting standards, and driving process improvements.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
