Roles and Responsibilities:-

Plant Operations Management: • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, production schedules, and resource allocation to meet customer demands and company objectives. • Oversee and monitor the daily manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, production targets, and delivery schedules. • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maximize operational efficiency. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to plant operations, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address any issues or bottlenecks. 2.

Quality Control and Assurance: • Establish and maintain stringent quality control procedures and ensure adherence to product specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, resolve quality issues, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and process reviews to identify and rectify quality gaps and drive corrective actions as needed. 3.

Supply Chain and Inventory Management: • Work closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, ensure timely procurement of raw materials, and minimize supply chain disruptions. • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, monitor supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and manage inventory levels to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs. 4.

Team Leadership and Development: • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the plant operations team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional growth. • Recruit, train, and develop employees, ensuring the availability of a skilled and motivated workforce to meet operational objectives. • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to enhance individual and team performance. 5.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations by implementing appropriate policies, procedures, and training programs. • Promote and maintain a culture of safety awareness, risk mitigation, and environmental sustainability throughout the plant operations. • Investigate incidents or accidents, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
