WE AIM TO SIMPLIFY COORDINATED CARE AT SCALE ACROSS POST-ACUTE CARE. Job Description: We seek a Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to assess software quality through automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills would help in this role. We want to meet you if you are competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly. Key Responsibilities: Automation Test Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Create reusable and scalable test automation frameworks for efficient testing across different platforms and environments. Implement best practices for test automation, including modularization, parameterization, and data-driven testing. Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements. Execute automated test suites to verify software applications' functionality, performance, and reliability. Regression testing will be conducted to ensure the stability of existing features after code changes. Defect Management: Identify, prioritize, and document software defects using issue-tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla. Work closely with development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues promptly. Perform root cause analysis to understand underlying reasons for defects and propose preventive measures. Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for early defect detection and continuous delivery. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI. Quality Assurance Standards and Best Practices: Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in software testing and quality assurance. Advocate for QA best practices within the organization and contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to provide feedback from a QA perspective. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation, preferably in an Agile environment. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Robot Framework. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs). Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or related field is a plus.Job tags
