Role Summary
Analyst - Vendor Management supports the management of vendor relationships and software licenses. The role manages contracts and ensures that vendors deliver quality products and services on time and within budget, all in alignment with Equiniti's business objectives.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
Implement vendor management policies and procedures Support development (in partnership with procurement and legal) and management of contracts with vendors.
Ensure adherence to standards such as quality control, pricing, delivery dates, payment terms, etc. Plan, monitor, and record software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts Monitor and review the performance of vendors against SLAs / contractual obligations /business objectives such as cost reduction or revenue generation.
Make recommendations for improvement including determining whether the contract should be terminated or continued Oversee license validation requests.
Coordinate and manage vendor activities such as creating, tracking, and reconciling purchase requests.
Manage the onboarding and termination process for vendors.
Maintain spend, vendor, and contract management databases maintain the inventory of all licensed products Communicate regularly with vendors regarding project status/issues.
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting: Create license metrics, license types and software inventory as part of management reporting to strategize and assist in decision making.
Perform analysis on vendor data to identify trends such as potential problems or opportunities for improvement Drive innovative solutions to ensure operational excellence and ensure continual process improvement is realized.
