Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate COMMI I IINDIAN Cuisine to join our team at Rural Blues The Restobar. As a COMMI I INDIAN, you will be responsible for assisting the senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of delicious Indian dishes. This is a full-time position with a Junior level experience requirement of 1 to 3 years. If you have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and are looking to further develop your culinary skills, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience as a COMMI I INDIANor similar role in an Indian restaurant
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian cuisine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and equipment
- Passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the senior chefs in preparing and cooking Indian dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Maintain inventory control and ensured all necessary ingredients and supplies were stocked
- Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they are visually appealing
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth workflow and coordination
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties assigned by the senior chefs or management
