Job Description :We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our team. As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions. You will play a key role in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to meet business requirements.- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexing strategies, and database configurations.- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls, encryption techniques, and backup strategies.- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.- Perform data modelling and database design tasks to support new application features and enhancements.- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SQL developers, including code reviews, best practices, and knowledge sharing sessions.- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to database management systems and SQL development tools.Desired Skills :- Proven experience as a SQL developer with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or similar relational database systems.- Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.- Experience with database design principles, data modelling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio), and normalization/de-normalization techniques.- Proficiency in database administration tasks, including backups, restores, replication, and security management.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are a plus.
