Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Freelance Big Data Analyst. As a Big Data Analyst, you will be responsible for performing complex data analysis on large and diverse data sets, and generate actionable insights from the data. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, and work closely with cross-functional teams such as data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver technical solutions, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
• Proficient with programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases such as Hadoop or MongoDB.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are applied to complex business problems.
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and architectures with ETL tools such as Airflow or Talend.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview to develop insightful dashboards and visualizations that inform business decisions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
