Job Overview: We at NEWME are looking to hire a talented merchandiser with expertise in inventory management and planning & forecasting. The ideal candidate would be responsible for supervising the procurement process and ensuring that inventory levels are optimal to meet customer demand. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Order Management: - Raise Production order for - Have a strong understanding of the Apparel Production Process and the ability to coordinate tasks with the production team. - Communicate with the production team to place orders and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.

2. Order Processing: - Receive and review purchase orders to verify accuracy and completeness. - Coordinate with stakeholders, such as warehouse and logistics, to ensure efficient and timely order fulfillment. - Keep track of order status and update the stakeholders on delivery timelines.

3. Inventory Control: - Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory. - Analyze sales data and demand forecasts to make informed decisions regarding inventory replenishment.

4. Forecasting and Planning: - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and demand plans. - Utilize forecasting tools and techniques to anticipate future inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. - Adjust procurement plans based on changing market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities.

5. Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare reports on KPIs such as stock turnover and fill rates. - Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks involved with inventory management. - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize inventory performance and drive business growth.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or Supply Chain Management. - Proven experience in merchandising, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders. - Proficiency in Inventory Management Software and Microsoft Excel. - Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve issues efficiently. - Experience in a Startup is a plus. - Experience -
