Overview As a part of Engineering team at ONE Championship, the Software Development Engineer (SDE) will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions and contributing to the company's technological advancements. The SDE will be responsible for various software development tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and the continuous improvement of our digital platforms. Core responsibilities: Owning architecture, design, development, and implementation of different modules/features of the Application Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application Fixing bugs and performance problems Writing clean, readable, and testable code Cooperating with back-end developers, product team, and other stakeholders to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions. Carrying out code reviews and manage pull requests within the mobile application development team Ideal candidate will also: Enjoy learning new things and sharing knowledge with co-workers Be up-to-date with the latest trends in Mobile App/React Native ecosystem and bring in industry best practices Take ownership to remove roadblocks/drive an initiative to completion. Discover opportunities for performance improvements and recommend ways to improve reliability, efficiency and code quality Be comfortable giving and receiving honest feedback Core skills: 5+ years into mobile development Deep knowledge of JavaScript and React Native framework (incl. Component lifecycle, React Navigation, Redux, etc) Working knowledge of either native Android or iOS development (Java/Kotlin or Objective C/Swift) Working knowledge of building JavaScript native bridges Strong debugging and performance optimisation experience Proficiency in version control Good knowledge of the process of publishing builds through both Play Store and AppStore Preferred: Working knowledge of TypeScript Hands on experience in both native Android and iOS development Experience with video streaming/casting CI-CD tools and publishing builds through pipelines.Job tags
