Job description
- We are looking for a Technical Lead / Architect to lead our Web Application Product Development team, building and maintaining enterprise web applications
- The ideal candidate has experience with J2EE technologies as well as newer technologies such as HTML5, CSS3
- In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the organization, as well as interact with consulting partners
- You must be able to bridge the gap between the business needs and the technology solutions, and help the organization move from older technologies to newer more agile technologies and development environments
Here's How You Would Support Unifylabs and our Clients:
- Shape our web and mobile technology innovation as we continuously improve our platform
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of system services and new features
- Write elegant, maintainable, and extensible code in a team environment
- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure the delivery of high quality features
- Development and administration of web and mobile applications
- Design, build, and implement new web and mobile applications
- Maintain existing features and modules
- Create and provide updates to requirements for installation and maintenance of platform
Desired Skills and Experience:
- You are an expert in front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript
- Passion for technology with an interest in jQuery, Spring MVC, Hibernate, NoSQL, Ubuntu and Android
- You love to see beautiful front-end code and makes it possible for others to contribute using your well-defined conventions
- You can go end-to-end on any stack, quickly digging in to unearth the best patterns and design decisions
- You are an expert in object-oriented design and have experience using Java (or other OO languages)
- You have experience working with or designing RESTful/SOAP APIs
- You are well-disciplined to write unit tests that assert something useful
- You understand the importance of security and have experience in developing secured web applications
- You have a technical background with a BE/MCA and 5 to 7 years of work experience in a computer-related engineering field, preferably Telecom
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with MySQL/Oracle, J2EE Technologies
- Writing technical documentation for new and upgraded applications
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Compliance with Web Accessibility
- Expert understanding of application development methods
- Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum SDLC
