What You'll Do:

This position is open to candidates based in Gurgaon and Hyderbad

Criteo is in search of an organized self-motivated Finance Manager, India to join our Finance team in India. The successful candidate is confident yet humble, can demonstrate a solid depth of knowledge on the local India tax law and regulation and can work seamlessly with the global team.

As the Finance Manager, India, you will be the main finance contact for our legal entity in India, you will assist the APAC Finance Controller, liaise with the external accounting/tax advisors and various stakeholders in Paris. This role is based in our Gurgaon, India office.

Statutory audit/tax compliance 40-50%

  • Interface with India statutory auditors, ensure no material audit adjustments
  • Liaise with external tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance and timely filing of all statutory tax and other compliance requirements
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure as per India GAAP as well as US GAAP
  • Collaborate with stakeholders of the global shared service center in Paris
  • Successfully implement/maintain India local special ledger (SAP, Z- ledger)

Financial review and analytics 20%

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial package and review with APAC Regional Controller
  • Deep-dive review of inter-company transactions
  • Ensure no material misstatements and follow up on the process gaps identified

Accounting/tax administration 10-20%

  • Review India tax invoices to ensure local compliance
  • Work closely with Corporate Legal team for corporate governance/corporate secretarial matters
  • Liaise with Corporate Treasury team and interface with a local bank for finance and compliance matters , including preparation of the foreign remittance documents
  • Document India specific requirements and processes

Other ad-hoc projects and requests 10%

  • Bring a fresh perspective to provide process improvement and efficiencies to current day-to-day and month-end processes
  • Drive regional initiatives/projects assigned
  • Partner with external cash collection teams and manage key liquidity ratios (e.g. DSO) for India entity
  • Disputes management and resolution in cooperation with the Sales Administration and Billing Teams
  • Regular partnership with the Sales teams and Customers
  • Manage all the pre-legal collection procedures

Who You Are:

  • Accounting or related major, bachelor degree or above
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience, strong knowledge of USGAAP and India GAAP
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Rigorous commitment to accuracy & deadline. Meticulous & task oriented
  • SAP FI-module experience. SAP special ledger experience is plus
  • Able to work with autonomy and flexibility, are very proactive and are open minded
  • Adaptable and comfortable to navigate in fast-pace environment
  • Support local Sales & Operations team for finance and accounting matters
