Job Role: Head - Sports
Experience: 7-10 Years of experience as The Head of the Sports department or Sports Academy.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as the Sports Head at Orchids The International School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education-based sports management, with expertise in both athletic and all sports disciplines. The Sports Head will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing our sports programs, ensuring the development of physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork among our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sports strategy aligned with the school's vision and values.
- Identify key performance indicators and set measurable goals for sports programs.
- Supervise and lead a team of 30-40 Sports Managers, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among the sports team.
- Design and implement sports programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of students.
- Introduce innovative initiatives to enhance the overall sports experience for students.
- Provide expertise in athletic training and development, ensuring the continuous improvement of students' physical capabilities.
- Collaborate with coaches to identify and nurture talent in various sports.
- Organize and oversee sports events, competitions, and tournaments.
- Manage sports facilities and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to secure resources for sports programs.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of sports-related activities.
- Sports should be implemented in all Orchids School branches.
- Build training modules for teachers and provide training for different sports instructors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sports management, with a focus on educational institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of athletic training principles and sports development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and implement innovative sports programs.
