Job description
Purpose - To maximise the effective use and value of Digital, Marketing and Enterprise data assets by delivering on a strategic data management roadmap through a combination of: The implementation of a structured and comprehensive approach to data management and data governance within Marketing (both tactical and strategic). End to end delivery of data features within the Marketing data environment on (S3, Redshift, Airflow, DataBricks) Working closely with business and technology teams to leverage enterprise Target State data capabilities
Experience - Essential capabilities – 4-10 years working with data in a data analyst, engineering or measurement role, preferably in the banking industry. AWS Services (S3,EC2, EMR, SNS, SQS, Lambda functions, Redshift ) Experience with GitHub, Jupyter Notebooks Advanced or demonstrable experience in SQL Ability to design, develop, execute, complete ETL Very good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, complex and dynamic environment (when engaging / interacting with onshore resources). Attention to detail, self-managed, strong data and problem-solving capabilities. Possess an agile mindset in delivery. Establishes relationships with cross functional teams. Teamwork, Collaboration & Communication. Solid judgment, reasoning and decision making abilities. Desired: Advanced or demonstrable experience in Power BI Present data in a graphical or pictorial format based on requirements using visualisation tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. Key Responsibilities - Identify or uncover patterns, correlations and trend that makes up reports and metrics. Understand financial services data and able to understand data models and relationships to compile reporting and metrics. Design, develop, execute, complete ETL and present data in a graphical or pictorial format based on requirements using visualisation tools such as Excel and Power BI. Use SDLC techniques for delivery of data products in cloud environments, such as configuration of data pipelines to introduce new data sources and use of SQL for data transformation. Embed methodologies for measurement of Marketing Campaigns (A/B testing, Attribution) into performance reporting dashboards.Job tags
