Job Description
We are looking for Business Development Manager who shall be responsible for helping
organizations obtain better brand recognition and growth. Who will be coordinate with company
executives and professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas
that can improve revenue. Business Development Managers will work closely with other business
representatives to identify and close new business deals or expand existing business opportunities.
They also work directly with customers to help close deals when needed so they must have good
customer service skills and a strong understanding of their company s products and services.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company s products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Identifying market opportunities through meetings networking and other channels
Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
Liaising with business representatives to develop sales and marketing strategies
Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
Preparing presentations and participating in sales meetings
Take a lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations that create and
nurture opportunities and partnerships
Identify trends and customer needs building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in
accordance with targets
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Master s degree in Agricultural/ business administration marketing or any other related
field. One must have experience in agribusiness or agribusiness development
Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role
Experience in online marketing and digital sales is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
PREFERRED SKILLS
A strong sense of creativity aids in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving
problems creatively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in BD techniques
Great problemsolving skills.
Ability to pay attention to details.
Ability to multitask efficiently
