We are looking for Senior Quality engineer for Pune-Kharadi location- Experience:10+Years Hybrid Model SKill Sets: Role: Senior Quality Engineer (Automation) Primary Skill: a) Functional Testing b) Database Testing c)Automation testing (Selenium/Playwright) Job Description: We are looking for candidates with the below expertise: • Proficient in Software Testing Lifecycle and Bug Lifecycle. • Fully understand how all aspects of test work integrates with the rest of the SDLC. • Support the Agile testing process, attending daily stand-ups and ownership of individual user stories. • Lead a team of Quality Engineers successfully delivering concurrent projects. But at the same time is completely hands-on on applications, front-end/back-end. • Understand system architecture and create robust Test Strategy document. • Experience handling clients expectations, experience in onsite – offshore model of work. • Expertise in Requirement Analysis and Inspection Techniques with proven skills of brainstorming user stories and detecting gaps / defects quite early in lifecycle. • In-depth knowledge and experience in different software testing methodologies: System, Integration, Regression, Sanity, Smoke and Exploratory • Experience in black box testing techniques: Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Class Partitioning, Decision Tables, Error Guessing etc. • Experience in GUI to Backend field mapping and End – To – End testing. • Proven experience in testing of Desktop, Mobile and Web applications. • Proven skills in writing of test conditions, test scenarios and test scripts. • Participate in test review meetings within the team. Perform peer reviews and feedback. • Manual test execution while accurately recording and storing test results. • Provide technical testing support for the test processes and methods as defined in the testing approach documentation. • Implementing scheduled tests, execution, logging the defects and evaluating the results and documenting any deviations from expected results. • Proficient in any of the Database: SQL Server, Oracle. • Experience in preparing test environment to execute test cases (Test Data – ensuring Data Integrity and Correctness). • Experience in DML, DDL and DCL statements. ACID Properties validation. • Proven expertise in testing complex Joins, Stored Procedures, Views, SQL Functions and DB Methods. Creating Minus Queries. • Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, pro-active and team player. • Good to Have – Automation skill sets.Job tags
