A start-up which is aims to revolutionize surgical training and education by leveraging immersive and realistic VR technology. The virtual reality based surgical training will enhance the skills and knowledge of medical professionals, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes

Role

As a Sales Manager for the VR-based surgical product, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively managing the sales function, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the medical field. You will play a crucial role in promoting our cutting-edge technology to surgeons and healthcare institutions, ensuring that our product is effectively positioned and adopted within the market.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives within the surgical market segment.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the surgical industry.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, surgeons, hospital administrators, and other relevant stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Positioning: Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure effective positioning of our AI-based surgical product in the market, highlighting its unique features, benefits, and value proposition.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Sales Collateral Development: Work closely with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, presentations, and other materials that effectively communicate the value proposition of our AI-based surgical product to target customers.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote our product, network with potential customers, and generate new sales leads.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years handling sales for a Medical Technology / Medical Instrumentation / Medical Equipment company
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the medical device or healthcare technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare industry dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans and strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales team activities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other sales management software.

Location : Bangalore
