About the role
The role will report directly into The Director of Program Management. The Program Management Office (PMO) is an adaptable, experienced and driven team that is tasked with driving change programs and high-quality software releases for our customers. The PMO provide governance, guidance, release management and continuous improvement through learning and data. This role is a great opportunity to interact with senior leaders, provide continuous improvement insights and develop your career path.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Release documentation – working alongside the Release Manager in completing various release related tasks
- Prepare and deliver presentations to management on planning, status of requirements, status of release notes and continuous improvements
- Monitor the life cycle of high value items in each release and communicate this regularly to key internal stakeholders
- Create and maintain a PMO communications calendar
- Create and maintain a PMO document library
- Support the administration of users on key process tools (Distribution Lists, JIRA, Asana etc)
- Support PMO colleagues in post release data analysis and team retrospectives.
- Support PMO in overall capacity planning and strategy
Essential Capabilities
- 2 – 3 years in a Business Analysis, Analyst, Project Management or similar role
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a product driven SAAS or financial services company.
- Proven ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced and ever-changing customer facing software environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Can do attitude who can adapt and prioritise effectively.
- A strong willingness to learn and a growth mindset.
- Experience in tracking, monitoring, advising and maintaining status and actions across Scope, Risks, Issues, Dependencies and Outcomes
- Experience of using JIRA, Confluence and Data visualisation tools.
- Possess knowledge and experience of agile development methodology. (Scrum, AGILE and KANBAN)
- Degree qualification in technology or a business discipline
- Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2®, PMP, PMBOK, SAFe or Diploma Level in Project Management or similar discipline from a recognised third level institution or accreditation body
Fluent spoken and very good written English
