What you’ll be doing: As an Accounting professional, you will play an important role in the execution of bookkeeping and accounting and will join a diverse team of professionals. This would require you to get involved in each of the stages of accounting – right from data entry to finalizing books of accounts. What will be your responsibilities: ➢ Independently manage book-keeping and accountancy work for small and medium enterprises through CPAs ➢ Prepare work papers and working notes. ➢ Prepare financial statements. ➢ Respond to client and audit queries. ➢ Serve as a participant on communication with engagement team/clients. ➢ Develop a good understanding of the sources of accounting processes. ➢ Coordination with ISMS core team to support ISMS activities and implantation strategies at the company. What are we looking for: ➢ Excellent communication skills, given the role requires a direct client (US) interaction and management expertise. ➢ Knowledge of US accounting standards or knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP. ➢ Working experience with mid-tier accounting firms focused on providing accounting services to US companies/CPA firms. It includes following activities but not limited to: 1. Accounting Acumen – From basic accounting entries to finalization of books 2. Handle months end close – accruals, amortization, Fixed Asset and Depreciation entries, adjustments, etc. 3. Data Entry - Booking of AP and AR invoices. 4. Bank Recons, Balance Sheet Recons. ➢ Hands on experience of handling payroll related activities that include payroll data validation, payroll data entry, reports, accounting entries and state specific Payroll Taxes rules. Should have experience of working with ADP Payroll, Gusto, QB Payroll, PayCycle, Paychex, PayCom, etcJob tags
