Position: Technical Sales Specialist

Location: Chennai, Guindy

We are hiring for a Technical Sales Specialist (TSE) to drive Solution sales for the portfolio comprising of Softcell`s Cloud Services including Managed SOC services, Remote Monitoring Services, Email Security, DMARC, CloudFlare cyber security etc, This is a customer facing field sales role.

About the role:

· TSE is essentially a Field Sales / BD role to evangelise, promote, create demand and close Managed Services / Cloud services orders for the complete portfolio offered by Softcell.

· Sales Specialist has to ensure that the branch reaches to the revenue goals that has been signed up for the region.

· The TSE has to understand the IT Infrastructure, Networking and Device maintenance landscape, Security Management of the customer and position the benefits of the appropriate solutions from the portfolio to the customers by mapping the right solutions with the requirement of the customers.

· Softcell's target customer is large private sector companies, therefore we prefer those candidates who have experience of selling to companies in the private corporate sector.

Job responsibilities:

· Reach to the revenue/sales goals of the Business Unit.

· Qualify opportunities with customers in the assigned territory by meeting them and progress leads passed from qualification to Bill-Of-Material stage with help from local and central technical teams.

· Prospect, develop, up-sell, cross-sell and generate new business opportunities from existing customers as well as new prospects.

· Understand and articulate the company's value proposition for the complete portfolio of the Business Unit.

· Conduct sales presentation on feature/functionality either through webinar or in a client facing meeting.

· Develop a good understanding of the services offered and have the ability to articulate Softcell's value proposition and benefit as solution consultant for this portfolio.

· Respond in a timely and complete manner to ongoing RFPs to achieve the quarterly targets

· Promote, position and sell products and services in the portfolio to multiple customer contacts.

· Monitor all ongoing opportunities in the assigned accounts and report progress of opportunities on a weekly basis to the Branch Head as well as National Business Manager.

· Build and maintain professional relationships with key personnel and maintain customer satisfaction at multiple levels.

· Identify and win new customers in the territory using various marketing channels- webinars, events, callouts and incoming leads

· Coordinate the involvement of local and central technical team and marketing members.

Desired experience:

· At least 3-5 years of hardcore field sales experience of which at least 2 years of sales experience (including the current job) should be in Enterprise Sales or Techno-commercial sales.

· Knowledge of networking, IT Infrastructure and security operations will be added advantage.

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and experience in having conversations with customer over phone.

· English (written and verbal).

· Driven by targets.

· Basic understanding of contracts, Terms and conditions and the ability to negotiate standard and non standard T&Cs.

· Ability to articulate in written format responses to clients requirements of strategic solutions.

· Ability to work as a team player since the role involves coordination with internal sales and technical team to progress the opportunity and ensure right customer response and satisfaction.
