Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in the Fintech industry. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems, both on-site and remotely.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Desktop and Laptop Support:
- Proficiently troubleshoot desktop and laptop issues.
- Provide remote support for users.
- Administrate Windows operating systems and related issues.
- Manage Domain Clients, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.
- Hardware and Network Management:
- Handle laptop hardware issues.
- Manage branch network infrastructure.
- Administrate printers/scanners and CCTV systems.
- Install and troubleshoot desktop applications (MS Office, Open Source Office Suites, O365, Outlook, Zoom, etc.).
- Manage ticketing system for timely issue resolution.
- Conduct on-site and remote resolution of hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Prepare & Provide training sessions for basic self-help and troubleshooting.
- Install and configure new IT equipment.
- Perform PC refresh, deploy new hire installs, manage PC moves, and retirements.
- Identify manufacturing defects and coordinate with warranty services for top brands.
- Willingness to travel to branch locations for initial setup or to resolve blockers if required.
