Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled 2D Drafting professional to join our team. As a 2D Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings using industry-standard software. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The employment type is full-time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in 2D drafting
- Proficiency in using NX1919 or similar software
- Knowledge of drafting principles and industry standards
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings based on engineering designs and specifications
- Use industry-standard software, such as NX1919, to produce accurate technical drawings
- Ensure drawings comply with drafting principles and industry standards
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve design and production issues
- Review and revise drawings as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of drawings and revisions
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver drawings within the specified deadlines
