Job description
Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare and present Annual demand planning Budget Own and facilitate monthly S&OP and forecast the rolling 12-month horizon. Use statistical techniques to analyze and improve the forecast accuracy, select appropriate forecast model to ensure the accurate forecast. Ensuring stock level as per budgeted norm, identify the abnormalities and take appropriate action to ensure no stock out Co-ordinate with customer and markets to get the required input to ensure the forecast accuracy Subject matter expert (SME) – need to provide suitable actions to improve the demand planning process. Track weekly/monthly forecast error results versus established targets and take corrective action to close the gaps Systematically identify and work to reconcile discrepancies and close gaps among inputs on an ongoing basis Ensure on time launch for the new product introduction Perform “What-If?” scenarios based on price, market share, and competitive data Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting techniques & trade operations, as well as manufacturing and supply chain work processes Well versed in MS Office tool (Particularly Excel) and should possess sound ERP knowledge. Should have good communication skill to interact with customer at North America and Canada and interact with all the internal stake holders
