We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sourcing and Inventory Manager to join our team at Hyppy. As the Sourcing and Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of sourcing materials, products, and components for our collections, as well as overseeing inventory levels and logistics to ensure seamless operations. This role requires a keen eye for quality, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure materials, products, and components. Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, monitor inventory, and forecast demand. Implement control procedures and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations. Quality Control: Establish standards for incoming materials, conduct regular inspections, and address quality issues promptly in collaboration with suppliers. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, effectively communicate Hyppy's requirements and expectations, and address performance issues proactively. Cost Management: Analyze costs and manage budget constraints while seeking opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or sustainability standards. Experience and Competencies: Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software. Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment. Strong project management and leadership skills. Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships. Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
