Job Responsibilities

  • In depth understanding of commercial Lending (vendor) applications like Finastra Loan IQ, FIS -ACBS and other market leading commercial lending platforms
  • Strong product knowledge/hands on experience and domain expertise on commercial lending operations, E2E process/loan life cycle
  • Reengineer processes in correlation with Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and external payments, collection of interest, Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation, Collateral & Insurance tracking on commercial lending
  • Evaluate business processes, requirements analysis, uncovering areas for improvement, developing, and implementing solutions
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate the business needs. Serve as liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
  • Create process models, specifications, diagram, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project teams. Effectively manage competing resources and priorities.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and key stakeholders
  • Participates in the QA of solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized
  • Business reengineering, large data handling and problem-solving skills. Logical acumen with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • An interest and understanding of project management techniques and business analysis. Commercial awareness, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • A strong interest in business and business development and fair understanding of information technology
  • Create and deliver functional training on products/modules. Mentor team from a functional perspective to ensure delivery of the module.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 - 12 years' experience including minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or loan servicing work, preferably for commercial lending or experience in a Back office/Financial industry
  • Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, ACBS will be an added advantage
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Advanced technical, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to the process
  • Knowledge of investment banking products including Loans
  • Proven track record and experience in driving medium to large sized projects with strong results
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Engage and collaborate with leadership team locally and globally
  • Play a key part in driving innovation and digitization agenda for India and global teams
  • Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
