Position Summary:
As a DE&I Specialist at Solenis, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our DE&I initiatives. You will work collaboratively with employees, leaders, and stakeholders to create and implement strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication: Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to promote DE&I initiatives and cultural events.
- Program Management: Oversee DE&I programs, initiatives, and events to drive meaningful change.
- Training and Education: Coordinate and deliver diversity and inclusion training programs to enhance awareness and promote inclusive behaviors.
- Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Support ERGs, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to thrive.
- Community Engagement: Build partnerships with external organizations and community groups to promote diversity and inclusion.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Support: Contribute to fostering diversity in our hiring process by participating in a variety of career fairs, guided by Talent Acquisition, and by actively engaging in strategic initiatives to build a diverse talent pipeline and institutionary partnerships.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to DE&I metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute DE&I strategies that align with the organization's values and goals.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with HR and legal teams to create or revise policies that support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant DE&I laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., HR, Social Sciences, or Business).
- Experience in DE&I initiatives.
- Knowledge of DE&I best practices, policies, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence change at all organizational levels.
- Certification in DE&I is a plus.
