Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Vice President of Research and Development at Summercool Home Appliances Limited in Ghaziabad. The Vice President of Research and Development will be responsible for developing and executing the company's research and development plan, managing R&D projects, supervising cross-functional teams, and overseeing product development. The Vice President of Research and Development will work closely with other senior executives to create and implement the company's strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Research and Development (R&D) skills, including a deep understanding of various R&D methodologies and experience in developing and implementing R&D strategies with a peculiar knowledge of Evaporative Air Coolers.
• Proven experience in leading and managing R&D projects, overseeing product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, allocate resources, and track progress.
• Software development skills, including experience in designing and developing software applications and products that meet customer needs.
• Excellent cross-functional team leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage teams that span different functions and geographies.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in the consumer electronics or home appliances industry is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi and other regional languages is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
