Job description

Job Overview :

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, assessing the creditworthiness of individuals, businesses, due diligence and monitoring of investments. The primary objective will be to evaluate financial data, analyse risk factors and provide recommendations to make informed decisions. The role involves working closely with internal teams both in India and Singapore, clients, reporting, communication, valuation and dealing with external parties viz., counsels, stock exchanges, etc for both Indian and Middle Eastern clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Credit Assessment :

• Conduct analyses of financial statements, credit reports, promoter reputation, etc to assess creditworthiness
• Evaluate the historical and projected financial performance of clients to identify potential risks and opportunities

Risk Analysis :

• Identify and analyse risk factors
• Assess market trends, economic indicators and industry specific factors to identify potential risks

Due Diligence :

• Performed DD on prospective borrowers and assess the quality of collateral
• Validate accuracy and completeness of information

Financial Modeling :

• Should know how to use financial models and to simulate various scenarios
• Conduct stress testing

Communication & Reporting

• Help in preparing green light memos and material to share with investors
• Present to Sr management, investment committee along with recommendations for a potential trade.

Collaboration :

• Interact with cross functional teams, viz., RMs, L&C, RMG, SAM, sales, etc

Compliance :

• Stay updated on trades in the market, relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
• Ensure internal policies and regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications :

• MBA/CA or other post graduate degrees with a degree in finance, accounting, economics or related fields.
• Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in credit analysis in private credit or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling skills and excel
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
