Job Description Team Summary
Visa is looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join the Visa Revenue Operations & Global Operating Certificate (collectively 'Global Revenue Operations') team in the Bangalore office. Global Revenue Operations is responsible for managing revenue activities in Visa, which the financial data analyst would help to support. Additionally, the team's data analysts support the developing, deploying and maintaining of mining tools and advanced analytics for revenue analysis and process automation. These tools help Visa to analyze voluminous revenue and metric data for anomalies, detect or prevent revenue leakage, increase efficiency in revenue processes and/ or enhance management reporting and communication.
Responsibilities - Develop and maintain productivity tools to increase efficiency and/ or strengthen controls over Global Revenue Operations processes.
- Develop and maintain analytical and reporting tools for revenue and related data to identify anomalies and revenue opportunities and improve reporting and communication.
- Generate statistical reports for management reviews, publication and ad-hoc analysis
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Global Revenue Operations processes
- Assist with other revenue projects and analyses and reports as needed
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualification
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced
Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualification - 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,
MD)
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Data Science, Finance, Accountancy or
equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an analyst role
- Experience in the usage of Python or R in data-driven analytics
- Expertise in using advanced Microsoft Excel modules such as PowerQuery,
VBA
- Experience in productivity tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power
Apps and Power BI
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and qualitative skills, with
experience taking raw data and drawing actionable insights from it and
formulating it into effective presentations
- As this is a global role with cross-regional collaboration and interaction,
willingness and ability to take occasional calls outside of local working hours.
