About this job :
Working closely with the Lean Portfolio Operations Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to
support delivery success across the portfolios. Involved in various change activities, with determination
to identify and embed successful execution patterns; the role is motivated by positive outcomes and the
associated results.
The role will also work collaboratively with various stakeholders, specifically the Data Management and
Reporting team, to translate data and reporting requirements into actionable insights.
The role (What you will DO and the IMPACT you will have) :
• Gather information through various channels to help identify themes and trends which support
a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Playback insights to both internal (LPMO) and external stakeholders and get involved in taking
initiatives forward, supporting their rollout, bedding in and evaluation.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders,
departments, and professionals across EMIS.
• Identify the needs of stakeholders from data insight and reporting perspectives, you will work
with the data management and reporting team to ensure requirements are accurately translated
and the resulting outputs meet their objectives.
• Complete regular assurance activities including data quality reviews and internal auditing of
compliance against our framework.
• Manage invitations, inputs, outputs, actions, and decisions of specified LPMO events, ensuring
actions are assigned and followed up.
• Provide training in a variety of topics and tooling to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain the content of our easy-to-use SharePoint site.
• Own the Lessons Learned process, coordinating and chairing post project review meetings to
help identify key areas of improvement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience (What you will KNOW or LEARN)
• A basic understanding and experience of Agile and Waterfall delivery methods, as well as
associated tools and techniques.
• Good ICT literacy and will be comfortable with the day-to-day use of Office 365 tools.
• Experience in elements of data capture, analysis, and reporting – using a variety of techniques,
tools, and outputs.
• Ability to adjust quickly to change related activities and the associated impact they have the
team.
• Proactive and confident communicator, comfortable when working with people and able to get
on with work by yourself as needed.
• Experience working in a team that has immovable deadlines, with the ability to prioritise
effectively.
