Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with strong Data Crunching amp; SQL expertise to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that will drive informed business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, gather and analyze data from various sources, and develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities - Data Analysis amp; Data Crunching:Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data repositories, to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the business objectives.
- SQL Queries and Database Management:Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform data from relational databases. Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.
- Business Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and other team members to understand business objectives and translate them into clear and concise requirements.
- Report and Dashboard Development:Design and develop comprehensive reports, interactive dashboards, and visualizations to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to stakeholders.
- Data Visualization:Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create visually compelling representations of data that facilitate understanding and decision-making.
- Data Modeling:Assist in designing data models and schemas to support business reporting and analytics requirements.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of key business processes, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Insights and Recommendations: Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and data-driven recommendations, with a focus on driving actionable outcomes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and work with relevant teams to resolve any data quality issues.
- Process Improvement:Continuously identify opportunities to enhance data analytics processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience of atleast 2-4 years as a Data/Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding with Number or Data Crunching.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and database management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in the B2B/SaaS industry/domain is a plus.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques is great.
