Job Description:

We are searching for a talented and passionate film editor to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in film editing with a keen eye for detail and the ability to storytell via their films. In addition to editing the candidate will also be responsible for directing/building stories DI/colorcorrecting films and at times the opportunity to be with the shooting team/travel to exciting places for work.

We love weddings and all the fun about capturing the best day of a couples life. Video editors are surely the heart and soul of filmmaking and if you yearn to work on films that go beyond the norm are full of laughter tears and joy and have an impact wedding editing and filmmaking will be your thing!

Responsibilities:

• You will be a part of the team that creates magic in wedding films and in doing so will be creating inspirational stories for real couples and real families
• You will be part of our wedding filmmaking team and youll be working with our Artists along with the ideation team to edit cut cull and craft films storytelling films
• We expect you to be good at editing creative original highquality compelling visual content and good music choices
• Must be good and wellversed with editing software such as PremierPro/FCP.
• Color Grading and color correction are a must. DaVinci experience will be an added advantage
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowing Telugu will be preferred.
• Responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable finished product ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage interview/testimonials sound effects & and music.
• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of editing
• Stay uptodate with the latest editing techniques equipment and trends.
• Coach and upskill teams to achieve newer goals

Growth Opportunities

• If you are someone whos looking to grow and have a career in weddings this can lead you to handle your own team of editors down the line.
• Head to becoming a Post Production Lead.
• This can also lead to other roles like cinematography if you develop an interest in it and are up for getting coached

Requirements:

• A minimum of 23 years of proven experience in video editing preferably within the wedding or events industry.
• Proficiency in using professional audio & and video editing software
• Strong portfolio showcasing your editing and storytelling work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English & and Telugu to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Having a personal laptop helps
