Educational Qualifications- B.Tech/BE Or M.Tech/ME Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Computers Experience Required- 10-15 years Purpose:- Testing professional who can support principal architect towards designing solutions to testing problems. Job Details-- Lead and own Subsystem level projects
- Define and Drive test strategy across product categories in line with automation roadmap
- Scope projects based on engineering and cross-functional requirements and simulation needs
- Develop Test Architecture solutions as per Roadmaps, document trade-offs and decisions
- Based on VOE, Identify testing architectures needed to execute Business Road Map
- Collaborate with Quality Organization to plan testing for supporting architecture / systems
- Collaborate with execution teams at all product development stages
- Build capability internal / External to deliver Test Automation, e.g. Test Automation Library using C#.
- Help make Software Quality an integral part of every project/program execution
- Drive early engagements with external partners for Testing deliverables
- Apply Innovation to solve problems leveraging Programming, scripts
- Develop technical understanding of full system / Simulation type / Load case / Product attribute etc. for existing product categories
- Review and Update Manual & Automation Test Standard and verification best practices
- Interface with internal/external electronic PCB and product production teams to maximize test coverage and optimize production test time
- Lead cross-functional projects and interaction with internal and external Stakeholders
Application Of Technical Tools - Evaluate and select engineering tools for automation for control board, HMI, and system testing
- Apply Opex and DFMEA methodologies to identify software issues and mitigate risks
- Hands-on experience with automated product verification software/hardware systems such as LabView, Opto 22 or Allen-Bradley PLC required
- Some knowledge of Python, C/C++ programming languages and microcontroller integrated circuits (Microchip, NXP, Renesas, STMicroelectronics, TI, GigaDevice) is a plus
- Experience with automated electromechanical test execution, fixture design and fabrication preferred
- Familiarity with agency standard (UL, IEC, CE, CQC, CCC) test requirements and test methods preferred
- Some experience with production product and PCB test hardware and software is a plus
Technical Mentoring And Coaching / Development - Create plan for Competency growth for Particular technology / skill / software for a particular product Or X-Product
- Competency tracking and evaluation with regional V&V Leads
- Providing Technical review feedback to regional and global V&V Leads
- Mentor V&V engineers in complex analysis tools, problem-solving techniques and applications
TECHNICAL - Strong knowledge of Embedded System Testing
- Experience using Test Management Tools
- ISTQB Foundation level certification
- Experience with automated product verification software/hardware systems
- Working knowledge of product and software development processes
