We offer a broad range of genomics and data analysis services to our customers working in agribiotech, healthcare, pharma and academia. We provide access to a combined resource of in-house bioinformaticians, statisticians and biologists working together to generate, analyse and interpret your genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic and metagenomics data. We offer comprehensive and advanced next generation sequencing and bioinformatics analysis on data generated from Genome sequencers like Illumina NovaSeq 6000 and PacBio Sequel II systems. Nucleome houses two NovaSeq 6000, one PacBio Sequel II to offer genomics long read sequence services and genetitan for genotyping services.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad. As an Assistant Manager - Business Development (South India), you will be responsible for driving business growth in the South India region, ensuring customer satisfaction, and exploring new business opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and implement initiatives, strategies, and campaigns. Additionally, you will lead product launches, demos, and trainings to drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Biotechnology, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related field in biotech or genomics industry
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Experience in customer relationship management, and sales forecasting
  • Knowledge of genomics, next generation sequencing, and bioinformatics is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Travel for 15 days mandatory outstation visit from the base location.
