Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad. As an Assistant Manager - Business Development (South India), you will be responsible for driving business growth in the South India region, ensuring customer satisfaction, and exploring new business opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and implement initiatives, strategies, and campaigns. Additionally, you will lead product launches, demos, and trainings to drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biotechnology, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related field in biotech or genomics industry
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Experience in customer relationship management, and sales forecasting
- Knowledge of genomics, next generation sequencing, and bioinformatics is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Travel for 15 days mandatory outstation visit from the base location.
