Job Description (Should and must points have to be covered and underlined) 1.To analyze and understand new and existing software components and requirements 2.Gathering test requirements and producing test specifications 3.To prepare a test scripts to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results. 4. To conduct testing in systematic manner & in the preparation of test scripts 5. Manual execution of tests, recording of results, investigation and logging of faults 6. Review test cases, test results and maintaining relevant test cases and results databases. 7. Review and analyze test results to identify defects and track issues to resolution, as required 8. To ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release 9. To provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes. 10. To provide advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues and undertake elements of supervision. 11. To identify test pre-requisites proactively, setup test data and test environment. 12. Employ advanced troubleshooting strategies; quickly determine root cause with limited support from others and provide support in troubleshooting. 13. To produce test deliverables, providing feedback on problems found. 14. Collaborate with other QA engineers to ensure consistency and alignment across all testing efforts 15. Contribute to evaluate and improve the testing process, tools, and methodologies
