Job description
We are seeking a candidate with a keen interest in fixed income markets, workflows, and data analysis to help develop index methodologies for the Fixed Income asset class. The role requires a detailed-oriented team member who can master index products and serve as the primary contact in their time zone. The position is within JPMorgan's Global Research Center in Mumbai, a hub for global equity research and other public side research areas. The Global Index Research Group, where the role is based, manages market-leading Fixed Income indices and works with large institutional asset managers and central banks. Ideal candidates are Engineering graduates with an interest in benchmarks, portfolio construction, risk management, and a desire to build a career in financial markets.
As an Index Analyst within JPMorgan's Global Research Center (GRC), you will be responsible for developing index methodologies for Fixed Income asset class. You will work with both internal stakeholders and external clients, educating them on the index products and the implications of any changes. You will also be involved in all stages of Index product development, from conceptualization to production.
