Job description

The priority for this role will be to support the CEO in equity fund-raising (angels, angel

syndicates, family office, corporate VCs and strategics)

This will involve :

• Detailed web research, creating a lead funnel and maintaining/managing the funnel
• Reaching out to potential investors internationally mainly and locally via LinkedIn/cold emails/calls responding to data requests setting up meetings recording minutes providing reminders to CEO for information forwarding same to interested investors setting up next calls
• Creating high impact profiles on platforms like angellist, gust, etc and creating,managing and tracking campaigns on these platforms and ensuring leads are added to the funnel and followed up

All collateral for fund raise have to be created and updated by the candidate which would

require excellent content and design skills

It will also include working with internal stakeholders to respond to data requests, collating

customised data rooms, working on documentation, etc.

Requirements

0-1 years' post MBA work experience in investment banking (sell side)

Killer sales mindset with the ability to and desire to form deep relationships with stakeholders in the investing

and financial services industry. An existing network is preferred but not mandatory.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, incl. being able to summarise dense content

for readers who are short on time.

Ability to create powerful and attractive powerpoint and complex excel files that other

stakeholders can easily understand. Advanced excel skills are a bonus, but not required.

Exceptional project-management skills, incl. managing dozens of threads at the same time and

providing visibility to managers through trackers, updates, etc.
