Job Description / Role Profile - Support the team on various organic and inorganic growth opportunities from feasibility
study to execution
- Run analysis for decisions on new capacity setup and expansion
- Drive the follow-up and monitoring of key strategic initiatives and projects
- Monthly analysis of segmental profitability including key product mix changes and its
implications
- Analyze industries/micro verticals to identify opportunities that align with businesses' core
competence ('where to play').
- Understand existing capabilities and differentiators to help develop capability roadmap,
service offerings, value propositions and go to market ('how to win')
- Exploring market / Service/solution areas. Working on pricing strategy and margin analysis
- Develop financial models used to estimate cash flows, synergy and potential for profitability
and participate in negotiations and have strong understanding of the legal clauses.
- Support inorganic growth plan with a M&A strategy in line with corporate strategy, identify
right M&A prospects and conduct initial business fit analysis
- Monthly business review, preparation of notes for decision, first level of communication with
prospects, preparing detailed analysis on M&A, JV, or Partnership model
- Enabling tech discovery and working on to improve the Management dashboard on regular
basis.
- Search, drive, record & report the business opportunities by performing initial discussion &
providing data points.
- Working on deal origination ideas/presentations OR pitch books OR buyer or target
identification
- Performing valuation analysis using precedent transactions OR comparative trading valuation
analysis.
Education/Experience What do we expect
An MBA Graduate +/ CFA from a reputed university with the following skills-
- 3-5 years of experience ideally in corporate strategy, M&A, management consulting, EMS or
services industry with focus on strategy and M&A execution
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, business acumen, and financial grounding
- People-centric, empathy, and data-driven decision-making, ability to see the bigger picture and
correlate business events to financial exposure and risk
- Continuous updating oneself with regulatory, macro, and microeconomic changes impacting
area and scope of influence.
- Ability to show business acumen and decision-making basis available data. Ability to deal with
ambiguous situation for best possible outcome.
- Phenomenal presentation skills, IT/ITeS exposure will be a super advantage
